8 Days Tanzania Circuit Discovery

Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet by a representative of Mwebesa Tours & Travel and transfer to your hotel in Arusha, booked on bed and breakfast.

This day after breakfast, 08h30 short pre-departure briefing then drive to Tarangire National Park for the afternoon on a game drive. You encounter elephants, but are equally stunned by the gigantic baobab trees.

You spend a further day exploring the stunning Tarangire National Park. You enjoy the beautiful scenery and observe animals that roam through the bush, like zebras, wildebeests and antelopes. At the same time you marvel at Tarangire National Park’s incredible variety of birds.

After the game drive you continue to Manyara where you stay overnight at Kirurumu Tented Lodge

After breakfast, you head to Lake Manyara National Park. On the drive through the different vegetations at Lake Manyara, you see various wildlife: monkeys in the trees, flamingos in the lake and with some luck even the famous tree climbing lions of Lake Manyara National Park. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the The Retreat at Ngorongoro at Karatu where you can relax and stay overnight

After breakfast, early in the morning, you drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater and down to the floor of the crater. In spectacular scenery the crater hosts an abundance of wildlife, among them all Big Five. Expect to see zebras and wildebeests, meet some lions and with some luck glance at the rare rhinos. Overnight you stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you proceed to the Serengeti where you spend your full day on game drives in the savannah of the Serengeti plains. You can see herds of zebras and wildebeests or maybe some lions enjoying the view from a kopije of the endless plains of the serengeti. Overnight you stay at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge in the heart of the Serengeti

Early in the morning, you go for a further game drive in the Serengeti. Then you head back to Karatu with a stop at the Olduvai George, the cradle of mankind. Overnight you stay at the The Retreat at Ngorongoro

You have the morning at your disposal to relax at the lodge or go for a walk through Karatu. After lunch you go back to Arusha from where you proceed to further adventures or back home.
